Determined Voters Brave Illness and Age to Cast Ballots in Durgapur Polling Booth

WOIS/DRUTGAMI-  277 DURGAPUR PASCHIM- As the first phase of election continues in West Bengal, Voters from different constituencies are arriving their respective polling booths to cast and elect there leader who can represent them and serve honestly there assemblies. Voting has started since morning and the voters from the age of 18 citizens, senior citizens and super citizens are too reaching to decide the fate of West Bengal. Part no. 99 and 100 Uttarpally F.P. School in Benachity area is witnessing todays history of voting. Among the senior citizen voter of this booth was Chintadebi Jaiswal aged 81 years on wheel chair with broken leg who was medically unfit but still have that enthusiasm to cast the vote where she was questioned by the Presiding Officer Anup Kumar Baidya that why she was not allowed to cast at home. Not being aware of this option Presiding Officer questioned to immediate BLO  Suhani Begum why her form as an incapable person was not processed. This matter was immediately taken into hand by the Presiding Officer who with the official formalities of Companion vote  allowed her to cast the vote.Another serious voter was Arati Saha of part no. 100 of the same constituency who has just went 4th stage cancer surgery at Kolkata too went to cast her voter .
